Jerry Brisbois Appointed to Co-Chairman Position of the Boston Bar Association’s State and Local Tax Committee

Boston Tax Firm, Caturano and Company today announced that Jerry Brisbois, Vice President in the State and Local Tax (SALT) group, has been appointed as the incoming co-chairman of the Boston Bar Association's State & Local Tax committee. The position will be a two-year term effective September, 2009 which he will co-chair with a partner from the law firm of McCarter & English.
The Boston Bar Association (BBA) is the most prestigious bar association in Massachusetts, with a membership that includes some of the largest law firms and public accounting firms in the state.
The BBA maintains an active Tax Section, of which the State & Local Tax committee draws a large attendance for its monthly meetings featuring guest speakers from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, the Legislature, and private practices that present cutting edge state tax issues.
